Liver enzymes too high for Suboxone?
By RehabRoy at 29 December, 2009, 6:13 pm
I recently detoxed from heroin and at first I was given Methadone but since I couldn’t afford the daily clinic and heard many horrible things about it I opted to take the Suboxone.
They started giving me Suboxone in the hospital, where they also diagnosed me with acute Hep C. I was discharged and referred to an outside doctor who I saw the same day.
After many hours spent waiting in the doctor’s office he told me that the “enzymes in my liver were too high” and that he couldn’t give me the Suboxone because I could go into a coma. I was completely devastated.
This was just the other day, and he made an appointment for me to see him on Monday, implying that the liver enzymes would be down and that he could give me the meds. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN MAKE THE ENZYMES OF MY LIVER GO DOWN? (I’m not sure if I’m explaining this the correct way medically but that is what I was told.. even if you took the time to read any suggestions are appreciated, thank you)
